Overview
Social Media Manager Jobs in London Area, United Kingdom at Lisa Eldridge Beauty
Title: Social Media Manager
Company: Lisa Eldridge Beauty
Location: London Area, United Kingdom
Social Media Manager
Reporting to: Lisa Eldridge
Location: London
Type: Full-time, permanent
The opportunity
Lisa Eldridge has built one of the most trusted and beloved communities in beauty – a following built not on hype, but on genuine artistry, warmth and decades of expertise. Showing up for that community every day, on every platform, in a way that feels authentic and never manufactured is one of the most important things we do.
As Social/Content Editor, you will own that daily presence. You will be the person who knows what is happening on Social Media this week, understands why a particular format is resonating right now, and can translate the world of Lisa Eldridge into content that feels completely native to each platform – without ever feeling like an ad.
This is a fast-rhythm role. You will work to weekly briefs, moving quickly and making confident creative decisions with a high degree of day-to-day autonomy. You report into the Lisa Eldridge who sets the strategic direction, but the day-to-day creative execution across organic social and paid media feed is yours.
You will also be the bridge between what is performing and what gets made next – feeding performance insights back into the content planning process and helping to identify which long-form assets should be cut down into social assets.
Who you are
You live on these platforms – not just professionally, but genuinely. You notice when a format shifts, when a sound takes off, when a community inside a niche starts talking about something new. You have strong instincts about what works and why, and you can articulate those instincts clearly enough to brief a team around them.
You also understand that Lisa Eldridge is not a fast-fashion brand or a trend-chasing account. You know how to participate in platform culture without cheapening the brand – and you know when to sit a trend out.
The channels you will own
Daily content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit and Redbook. You will write the weekly brief, commission or create platform-specific edits, manage community responses, spot trends worth participating in and ensure the brand shows up consistently – never going dark, never feeling stale.
What you will do
Organic social
- Write and deliver a weekly content brief covering daily output across all organic social platforms, broken down by channel
- Create or commission platform-specific edits – Instagram, reels, carousels, stories – adapted from long-form content or originated for social
- Manage community engagement: monitoring comments, responding where appropriate and identifying conversation-worthy moments
- Track trends across, Instagram and emerging platforms, flagging relevant opportunities to the brand
- Participate in reactive and cultural moments in a way that feels on-brand and never opportunistic
- Maintain the brand’s tone across all platforms
- Work with the paid media team and agency to understand what is performing and what formats are being tested
- Monthly summary/review on what is working/what is not?
- Brief or create short-form paid adaptations from existing brand and editorial content
Content planning & collaboration
- Attend the weekly alignment meeting, reporting on what is live, what is performing and what is coming
- Work with the Production Manager to ensure social edits are scheduled into the production pipeline alongside longer-lead content
- Identify moments where long-form Lisa Eldridge or Brand Content can be repurposed for social maximising the value of every shoot and production day
- Contribute ideas to the monthly planning process, bringing a platform-native perspective to the broader content calendar
Experience
Essential
- Proven experience managing social content across YouTube, Reddit, Instagram and at least one other platform in a professional capacity
- A strong portfolio of platform-native content – you can show us work that genuinely fits social platforms not simply brand content that was reformatted posted there
- Experience writing social briefs and managing a content calendar at a daily cadence
- Confident video editing skills – you can cut a Reel or TikTok yourself, quickly and to a high standard
- A genuine feel for community management – you understand the difference between a comment that needs a response and one that can be left
- Excellent written communication – captions, hooks and briefs that are sharp, warm and on-brand
- Fast, self-directed and calm – you are comfortable making decisions independently at pace without waiting to be told
Highly desirable
- Experience working within a premium beauty, fashion or lifestyle brand where tone and aesthetic are non-negotiable
- Familiarity with Reddit, Redbook or other emerging platforms relevant to beauty communities
- Experience using analytics tools to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable creative decisions
- An eye for visual quality – you notice when something looks slightly off and you care enough to fix it
- Experience working alongside or in support of a founder-led personal brand
How you will work
This role operates almost entirely in the fast rhythm – weekly briefs, daily output, rapid iteration. You will have a high degree of creative autonomy within the brand’s established aesthetic and tone. Lisa Eldridge sets the strategic frame; how you fill it week to week is largely yours to decide.
You will attend the Monday alignment meeting and contribute what went well last week, what is trending, what needs to go out this week. Outside of that, your time is your own to manage – provided the output is there and the quality is right.
The Production Manager will be your logistics partner for anything that requires crew, edit time or asset delivery coordination. You will not be scheduling shoots or managing suppliers – your focus is on the content itself.
The best person in this role will feel like a genuine extension of the Lisa Eldridge community – someone who cares about it, understands it, and wants to make it better every week.
