Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level PR & Social Assistant to join our growing team at Roar Studios. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in social media, PR, or influencer marketing. You’ll support the day-to-day delivery of digital and communications campaigns for our e-commerce clients, working across earned media, creator partnerships, and organic content.

Responsibilities
Support the delivery of PR campaigns, including media research, press list building, press release distribution, sample send-outs, and coverage tracking
Manage day-to-day journalist communications and maintain up-to-date media lists
Assist with influencer gifting; communicating with creators, managing databases, tracking content, and supporting logistics
Schedule and publish organic content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn using tools such as Hootsuite and Emplifi
Monitor and report on social trends and media coverage using Brandwatch, Looker Studio and Emplifi
Assist with community management, monitoring and responding to comments, DMs, and mentions to help build brand engagement and loyalty
Be open to appearing on camera as part of social content when needed (e.g. behind-the-scenes clips, trends, or campaign content)
Help compile weekly and monthly reports that highlight key campaign performance metrics
Support the team on set during shoots, influencer content days, and brand events
Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth campaign delivery
Requirements
Must be based in the Leeds/Harrogate area
Able to attend our Harrogate head office
A genuine interest in PR, social media, and influencer marketing
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
A confident communicator who is happy to ask questions and get stuck in
Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and understanding how brands use each platform
Willingness to contribute to on-camera content if needed
Positive, enthusiastic, and keen to grow within a fast-paced agency
Additional Skills (Not Essential)
Previous internship, university placement or part-time role in PR, marketing, or social media
Basic understanding of editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar
Familiarity with influencer management platforms or content planning tools
