What makes the role meaty?
Procurement & Sourcing
- Execute daily sourcing and procurement activities as per business requirements
- Raise purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability and on-time delivery of products
- Monitor procurement costs and support negotiations to achieve cost efficiencies
- Maintain sourcing records, purchase documentation, and vendor database.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new supplies
- Follow up with vendors on deliveries, quality concerns, and documentation
- Support vendor onboarding and performance monitoring activities
- Conduct supplier visits and audits whenever required
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Work closely with warehouse teams to understand inventory requirements
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning
- Ensure minimal stock-outs and wastage through effective procurement planning
- Coordinate with operations teams to resolve supply-related issues
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure sourced materials meet company quality standards and specifications
- Coordinate with quality teams on vendor compliance requirements
- Maintain procurement documentation and records as per company policies
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare procurement reports and sourcing trackers.
- Track purchase orders, supplier performance, and inventory movement
- Generate periodic MIS reports for management reviews
We hope that you have…
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Business Administration, Agriculture, Food Technology, or a related field
- 1 to 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, or related functions
- Experience in FMCG, food processing, meat, poultry, seafood, retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries will be preferred
