Role Overview
As a Sourcing Executive, you will support new product development and ongoing sourcing initiatives by identifying suppliers, optimizing costs, and ensuring quality and compliance. This role requires strong market research capabilities, supplier evaluation experience, and hands-on coordination with manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Source suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing for new product development
- Conduct continuous research on materials, production advantages, and supplier markets
- Optimize supplier base for cost, quality, and service improvements
- Monitor local regulations and assess impact on sourcing and production costs
- Source materials, machinery, and equipment for production needs
- Maintain accurate sourcing records and supplier documentation
- Conduct supplier assessments and pre-shipment inspections
- Support additional sourcing and procurement tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Strong supplier research and evaluation skills
- Understanding of cost optimization and supply base management
