Position Overview

The Sourcing & Product Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of global sourcing and product development initiatives. This position partners cross-functionally to help bring products from concept through production, ensuring timelines are met, data is accurate, and communication flows effectively between internal teams and global vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support global sourcing activities, including vendor communication, cost sheet creation, and pricing analysis
  • Coordinate sample management, including tracking prototypes and production samples to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain and update product specifications throughout the development process
  • Assist in managing development timelines and calendars; proactively follow up to keep projects on track
  • Partner with Sales, Creative, Production, and Logistics teams to support product execution
  • Maintain accurate costing, vendor, and product data within internal systems and reporting tools
  • Support sourcing of materials and trims aligned with quality, cost, and design requirements
  • Coordinate prototype and sample submissions between vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and sourcing summaries for internal review
  • Assist with vendor evaluations and support ongoing sourcing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in sourcing, product development, merchandising, or manufacturing (internships considered)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM or ERP systems is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with overseas vendors or global supply chains
  • Knowledge of materials, trims, and manufacturing processes
  • Exposure to costing and margin analysis
  • Experience in promotional products, apparel, or consumer goods industries

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
  • Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for discretionary annual bonus
