Spa Manager – Boutique Hotel – Pretoria (Near Roodeplaat) – | Full-Time | Non-Live-In – R18,000 per month + Commission – Candidate must live in Pretoria
A boutique hotel spa in the Pretoria area is seeking an experienced and driven Spa Manager to lead and grow its wellness offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with hands-on spa experience and a passion for guest service excellence.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have the following criteria:
• Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent)
• Diploma in Somatology or Health & Skincare and ITEC or CIDESCO/SAAHSP
• Recognised qualification in Spa Management, Beauty Therapy, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience managing a spa, preferably within the hospitality or wellness industry
• Proven experience in training and developing spa therapists
• Practical experience in aesthetic treatments (facials, advanced skin treatments, or related services)
• Strong knowledge of spa operations, therapies, and wellness services
• Experience in staff management, scheduling, stock control, and retail management
• High standards of hygiene, safety, and operational compliance
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while leading and motivating a team
• Experience with booking systems and spa software (advantageous)
• Valid work permit (if applicable)
• Professional, reliable, well-presented, and guest-focused
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage daily spa operations
• Lead, train, mentor, and motivate the spa team
• Maintain service excellence and consistent guest satisfaction
• Monitor and improve staff performance
• Manage inventory, retail sales, and stock control
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally
• Collaborate with hotel management on promotions, packages, and revenue growth strategies
• Drive retail sales and maximise spa profitability
