Position: SPA TECHNICIAN (NAIL TECHNICIAN)
Join the Motor City Casino Hotel team as a Spa Technician (Nail Technician) and help us maintain the highest spa standards. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent manicure and pedicure services, maintaining cleanliness, and following established protocols to enhance guest experience.
Responsibilities include:
Demonstrating knowledge of spa treatments and products, and communicating their benefits to guests.
Providing high-quality nail services to all guests.
Following treatment protocols within specified timelines.
Assisting guests with retail product selections and education.
Meeting and exceeding retail sales goals.
Supporting other spa areas, including reception and retail.
Training hotel personnel in manicure and pedicure treatments.
Managing inventory control.
Being available for on-call appointments with at least eight hours’ notice and preparing the treatment room before shifts.
Working varying shifts, including holidays and weekends.
Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Valid state cosmetology/nail technician license recognized by Michigan.
Training from a recognized cosmetology/nail technician school.
At least one year of experience in an upscale spa.
Ability to stay calm and organized in busy environments.
Physical ability to stand, bend, lean, walk for up to 10 hours, and lift up to 20 pounds.
CPR certification.
