Coco Spa @ The Regent is a luxury spa in Morningside, Johannesburg offering an urban sanctuary to the suburban dweller looking for a pampering refuge of calm, health and serenity for the body, mind and spirit. At coco spa the concept of wellness within the city is alive. Our luxury spa includes four ambient rooms that host treatments inspired by ancient therapeutic massage healing and thalassotherapy;
bringing an infusion of african,asian and greek techniques. The Spa also offers a wide variety of beauty treatments, providing luxury nail treatments including nail extensions, manicure and pedicure using gel or regular polish. Coco also has specialised waxing services as well as makeup. Job Description with Key Performance Areas:
Sales
Retail minimum 30% of turnover monthly
Promotion of services available and special promotions
Prescribe homecare products to each guest
Follow up with regular clients and encourage them to return
Customer service
Be able to efficiently deal with problems if the manager is not available, to diffuse the situation and not make it worse
Tour potential guests as required
Ensuring guest satisfaction and professional service
Ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related queries with members and guests
Ensure guests complete Consultation Card before commencing treatment
Ensure guests complete Comment Cards after treatments
Treatment standards & procedures
Perform expected quota of treatments monthly
Participate in staff training for all aspects on the spa operations, services and retail sales
Perform treatments in accordance with standards set out in Standards & Procedures Manual
Ensure that appointments are taken down correctly & communicated to other spa staff where necessary
Ensure that treatment room are prepared in advance taking special regard for booked treatments
Any other supplementary task or duty that’s reasonably necessary to carry out the main function or duty of the job, or any task or duty reasonably required by you, forms part of the employee’s job description.
Adherence to policies, standard & values
Cleanliness and ambience of Spa to be upheld and maintained at all times
Be aware of schedule and time keeping at all times
Ensure that there is always ample supply of products in each room to perform treatments.
Report any products needing to be ordered to Manager
Ensure the Spa is in peak condition at all times
Immaculate personal presentation at all times
Ensuring positive team spirit
To be able assist all members of staff if requested
Ensure that all commission summaries are kept up to date and are correct

Inherent job requirements
Required to work 45 hours per week, Mondays to Sundays, including Public Holidays, as per schedule
Required to work a minimum of 3 or 4 weekends per month, depending on the length of month
