Job Responsibilities
Perform various spa treatments and services, such as massages, facials, and body treatments, according to established protocols. Assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate treatments based on their preferences and medical history. Maintain a clean and organized spa environment, including sterilizing equipment and disinfecting surfaces. Ensure client comfort and satisfaction throughout their spa experience, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in spa therapies, attending workshops and training sessions as needed. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials. Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and
product recommendations
, in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with other spa staff and professionals, such as estheticians and nail technicians, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
Contribute to a positive and supportive
team environment
, assisting with tasks outside of direct spa services as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
education
. Valid certification or license in massage therapy or relevant spa therapy field. Proven industry experience in a similar spa therapist role, with at least 2-3 years of work experience. Strong knowledge of different massage techniques, skincare products, and spa therapies. Excellent
communication skills
