Provide bodytreatments to guests using body scrubs wraps and/or hydrotherapy.
Assess
guest needs
and inquire about contraindications (e.g.allergies high blood pressure and pregnancy) before beginningservice. Keep up to date with current techniques and modalitiesrelated to their field of work. Escort guests to and from treatmentrooms. Arrange workstation treatment room and/or drapes. Frequentlycheck with guest to promote comfort safety and security throughoutservice. Promote and sell spa services including retail offeringsrelated to the Spa.
Clean maintain and sterilize tools. Maintaincleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shiftdispose of trash and dirty linens and secure supplies and equipmentat the end of each shift. Monitor and stick to time schedulethroughout the day. Handle inappropriate guest behavior byfollowing Marriott International standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists leading up to andincluding stopping a treatment or service and informingsupervisor/manager.
Maintain current skills and licensure inservice area as per regional requirements.
Report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions tomanager; complete
safety training
and certifications. Follow allcompany policies and procedures; make sure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome andacknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipateand address guests service needs; thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develop and maintain
positive working
relationships withothers.
Stand sit or walk for an extended period of time; graspturn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Move liftcarry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10pounds without assistance. Grasp turn and manipulate objects ofvarying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and handeyecoordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
