Overview:
The Sr. Associate Planner will assist a Planner and the Planning team while assuming financial accountability for a specific account or brand.
Key Accountabilities:
Create the running weekly sales reports configuring data and troubleshooting
Manage and maintain the compiling of historical financial information on product performance
Partner with sales on growth opportunities at all levels, which include brand, size range, category, style, color and location
Create the Pre/Post Seasonal Planning for specified accounts
Manage and maintain the actualizing financial information to support departmental merchandise strategies
Create the compiling of weekly shipping reports and maintain all documents to monitor performance
Support the Planning and Sales teams on gathering all relevant data for meetings with accounts and participate in meetings as appropriate
Distribute weekly reporting to all levels of management
Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Finance or related field
Minimum 2+ years’ experience as Planning Coordinator or Associate Planner (wholesale experience a plus)
Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (must have advanced excel skills)
