Principal Purpose

Drive category & channel success in line with country objectives, strategies and KPIs

Develop overarching product strategies, globally/regionally consistent and locally relevant by working with local key stakeholders as well as APAC Product, DTC Buying

Lead to build & align Brand priorities with cross-functional teams

Main responsibility

1. Country expertise input

(1) Provide quality input to build locally relevant product pipeline based on product trend, consumer insight, and competitor landscape in the marketplace to key stakeholders in APAC and Korea while ensuring business growth opportunities

(2) Lead country product input by closely working with DTC Buying team according to product planning milestones

2. Product merchandising

(1) Create a mid-long term strategic plan for Apparel by working with APAC Product team

(2) Build Range architecture and assortment planning by account to identify SKU needs, product gaps to be fulfilled through SMU and OMU, which needs to be inputted by country merchandiser

(3) Work closely with DTC Buying across the product planning milestones (Season Brief to Line Review etc.) to build relevant product presence in country wise

(4) Collaborate with APAC product by providing market updates including business, trends, and consumer insights to influence global/regional line plans

(5) Build forecasting/consistent price structure with protecting margin

(6) Lead or proactively participate in local collaboration project to create energy while deeper engaging with local core community by partnering with country Marketing and APAC product

(7) Monitor product KPIs to apply key findings future product plan (pricing/margin, SKU# plan, product efficiency, category performance, etc.)

3. Product operations/Others

(1) Manage local linelist, SMS and provide quality handover of seasonal sell-in tools including product presentation deck

(2) Be the key contact on product-related works

(3) Coordinate the sell-in tools across the SBU for efficient work

(4) Cooperate on product specific topics such as KC test, tag info and price

(5) Proactively participate in key account meetings to capture customer needs

(6) Support product training sessions

(7) Present category concepts/product range plans internally and externally to key partners

Job Requirements

* Contractor position

Bachelor degree and above

5 + years product development / merchandising experience

Closely attached to Fashion(apparel), Sports(action sports) industry

English proficiency, both written and spoken

Excellent presentation and communication skills
