What This Position Is All About:
As a Senior Recruiter at SaksOFF5th, you will be responsible for supporting our Stores and managing the full lifecycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and onboarding. This role requires a deep understanding of retail, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for identifying and engaging with top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
Coordinate and conduct virtual and in-person interviews, including panel interviews and assessments
Manage the candidate experience, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process
Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed
Negotiate offers with candidates, including salary, benefits, and other terms of employment
Partner with HR and hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5-7 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record of successfully filling positions in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
Experience working in an applicant tracking system (Workday and/or Taleo preferred)
Experience with Avature CRM (preferred)
Experience with leading searches across multiple functions and all levels within an organization (entry-level to leadership)
Proven results influencing and collaborating in a matrix organization, partnering with all levels of the organization including senior leadership
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Combination of both in-house corporate recruitment experience and agency recruitment experience (preferred)
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $90,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
