Overview:
As the Store Director, you will embody a dynamic, attentive, and inspirational leadership role, steering the strategic and daily operations within the boutique. With a focus on driving sales, ensuring an exemplary customer service standard, and maintaining operational excellence, you will intertwine various aspects of boutique management, customer interaction, and team development to uplift the brand’s ethos and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Client Development:
Forge and deepen client relationships, aiming to exceed sales plans across diverse timelines and sustain long-term client loyalty. Motivate and strategise with team members to nurture and expand new and existing client relationships, ensuring personal involvement on the sales floor and direct client relationship management. Align sales strategies with brand offerings and client expectations, utilising key product pillars.
Customer Service:
Consistently enhance in-store experiences, creating memorable and unique moments for every client. Embody and ensure superior client experiences on the sales floor, perpetually coaching the team on effective selling ceremonies and customer interaction. Leverage client feedback to refine and elevate customer service approaches, adhering to brands’ standards and enhancing client satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
Guarantee that the back-of-house operations robustly support sales and service initiatives, while adhering to and enhancing operational procedures. Discover and execute efficiencies and operational best practices, ensuring streamlined and optimised store functioning. Enforce compliance with all internal control and operational procedures, safeguarding regulatory and internal conformity.
Talent Management and Development:
Identify, hire, and cultivate talent, creating a team that aligns with the brand’s commitment to first-class service and selling. Craft and implement Individual Development Plans for each employee, prioritising continuous training, coaching, and feedback as central to team development.
Utilise rewards, recognition, and performance management processes to enhance team engagement and performance. Engage in networking and recruitment to ensure a pipeline of diverse, skilled talent is continuously developed.
Profile:
Robust business sense and a keen capability to drive results.
Acute sensitivity toward customer experience and loyalty.
Strong communication and organisational leadership skills, with a flair for empathy and sincerity.
Agility in managing multiple priorities within a dynamic retail environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Authorisation to work in the specified location.
Previous experience in luxury retail management.
Proven history in sales generation and managing the achievement of sales results.
Proficiency with diverse office software and Point of Sales (POS) systems.
Flexibility to adopt varied roles as per evolving business needs.
Languages:
Fluency in French and English is essential. Proficiency in additional languages is considered advantageous.
