Role Purpose
The Store Manager is responsible for leading the overall store operations, driving sales and profitability, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The role involves managing store teams, achieving business targets, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Performance
- Drive store sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Monitor key business KPIs including conversion, ATV, UPT, and sales productivity.
- Identify opportunities to maximize sales through effective merchandising and customer engagement.
- Execute promotional campaigns and business initiatives as per company guidelines.
Customer Experience
- Deliver an outstanding customer shopping experience aligned with M&S service standards.
- Handle customer feedback and escalations effectively.
- Build customer loyalty through excellent service and relationship management.
Store Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping, and store presentation.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, audit requirements, cash management, and loss prevention policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to minimize stock loss.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop store team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and motivating work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure optimum manpower planning and roster management.
Financial & Operational Control
- Manage store expenses and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze business reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in retail, including experience in Store Management.
- Experience in apparel, fashion, lifestyle, department store, or premium retail brands is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Candidates from Apparel, Fashion, Lifestyle, Footwear, Department Stores, or Premium Retail brands will be preferred.
