This job is responsible for the daily operational and administrative activities of the store, to ensure smooth, efficient and profitable operation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain sufficient inventory levels in the store, and ensure that the shelves are always filled with proper types and quantities of products.
Greet customers and treat them respectfully. Attend to customers’ needs and complaints and arrange to resolve them quickly.
Monitor the inventory levels in the store, and conduct weekly inventory, and report any discrepancies to the area supervisor.
Observe the store shelves daily and monitor the display of the products, and remove any damaged or expired products.
Follow company procedures on cash control, and report cash shortages to the management.
Maintain neat and clean personal appearance, and maintain the store clean at all times.
Monitor store costs of utilities such as electricity while ensuring a safe working environment.
Perform any other related job duties that are assigned from time to time by management.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Diploma in the Management field or equivalent.
Three years’ experience in retail stores business, with one recent year as store Manager.
Good organizational, analytical and customer services skills.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
