Our client is an international retail group with a strong presence across Europe and the MENA region, operating a portfolio of high-end fashion concepts in prime luxury retail locations. As part of their continued expansion in Romania, they are recruiting an experienced Store Manager for a high-end fashion store. The client is committed to delivering a refined, service-led retail experience, combining premium product, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence.
POSITION SUMMARY The Store Manager will be fully responsible for the commercial performance, daily operations, and team leadership of the store. This role requires a strong luxury retail background, excellent people management skills, and a hands-on leadership approach. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of customer experience while driving sales performance, client loyalty, and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the overall day-to-day operation of the store in line with high-end retail standards and company policies
• Lead, coach, and develop the store team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Deliver a premium, personalized customer experience and build long-term client relationships
• Monitor and analyze sales results, customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity, providing feedback and action plans
• Oversee all inventory-related activities, including goods receiving, stock control, transfers, cycle counts, returns, and damaged goods
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation consistently reflect luxury retail standards
• Recruit, train, schedule, and performance-manage staff
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, loss prevention, and internal procedures
• Act as a role model and ambassador for high-end fashion and customer service excellence
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Store Manager in high-end or premium fashion retail
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, motivating, and retaining high performing teams
• Commercially driven with strong KPI management and business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer engagement skills
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English (Romanian mandatory; additional languages considered an advantage)
OFFER & CONDITIONS
• Salary: 5 000 – 5 500 RON net/month
• Monthly commission scheme based on store and individual performance
• Stable working schedule: 38 hours per week, rotating shifts, 2 days off per week
