Committed to providing an exceptional outdoor experience, we offer a range of activities and adventures for campers throughout the year. Our camp store is a vital component of our services, providing souvenirs and clothing to campers and visitors. As a Store Manager, you will be an integral part of our Guest Service Team, dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our campers and visitors. In this role, you will also be responsible for supervising seasonal staff to ensure the smooth operation of the camp store.

POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking a dedicated and organized Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our camp store. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service, a flair for merchandising, and the ability to create an inviting shopping experience for campers and visitors alike. Additionally, the Store Manager will play a crucial role in supervising and leading seasonal staff during peak camping seasons.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels throughout the year while implementing effective inventory control measures.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of merchandise.

Visual Merchandising:

Ensure the store layout remains attractive and conducive to a positive shopping experience.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers including offering product knowledge and information to enhance the overall shopping experience

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional manner.

Guest Service Team Participation:

Work collaboratively with other members of the Guest Service Team.

Contribute to creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for campers and visitors.

Participate in training sessions and initiatives aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction.

Supervision of Seasonal Staff:

Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal store staff.

Ensure all staff members adhere to established policies and procedures.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among seasonal staff.

Cash Management:

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently including the reconciliation of daily cash and credit card transactions.

Maintain a secure and organized cash handling process.

Promotions and Marketing:

Collaborate with camp management to coordinate special events and sales initiatives.

FROST VALLEY IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous retail management experience is preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
