Our client seeking a warm, community-minded Store Manager to lead the opening of a new children's boutique in Greenwich, CT. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about retail, customer experience, and relationship-building to join a growing, founder-led business and help establish its presence within the local community. The ideal candidate understands that this role is about more than store operations—it's about creating meaningful connections with families and delivering a personalized, neighborhood-focused shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, elevated, and personalized customer experience that reflects the brand's values and service standards

• Build genuine relationships with customers and contribute to overall sales performance and client retention

• Support back-of-house operations, including receiving shipments, processing inventory, and maintaining stockroom organization

• Assist with inventory management, reporting, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor

• Help manage store supplies and proactively support operational needs throughout the store

• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store environment is consistently polished and inviting

• Collaborate closely with team members to support daily store goals and initiatives

• Assist with store events, special projects, and new business initiatives as needed

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while embodying the brand's aesthetic and customer-first mindset

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience; luxury, contemporary, or premium retail experience preferred

• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable shopping experiences

• Professional, polished, and approachable communication style

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Comfortable working with retail technology, inventory systems, and operational processes

• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment

• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support all aspects of store operations

• Passion for fashion, lifestyle brands, and long-term career growth within the retail industry

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
