The Store Manager – Farmer Services Team will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple Model DeHaat Centres (MDCs) under the FOCO (Franchisee Owned, Company Operated) model. The role will involve managing inventory control, ensuring smooth coordination between franchisee owners and internal teams, and leading staff to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will ensure timely product delivery, resolve operational issues, and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, DeHaat Captains, and farmers. The Store Manager will ensure compliance with company policies, track performance, and drive continuous improvement in operations for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

Management of Two MDCs: Oversee operations of 2-5 Model DeHaat Centres (MDCs) under FOCO model, ensuring smooth coordination between franchisees, company, and field resources.

Inventory and Stock Control: Manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of agricultural inputs/outputs; maintain accurate inventory, conduct stock audits, and implement FIFO/LIFO stock rotation.

Franchisee Coordination: Build strong relationships with franchisee owners, provide performance updates, and address concerns to align goals.

Engagement with DeHaat Captains (VRs): Coordinate with DeHaat Captains to aggregate input demand from farmers and support VR activities for enhanced service delivery.

Coordination with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Tele Advisors: Collaborate with RMs and Tele Advisors to drive demand, resolve queries, and improve operational strategies.

Customer Service and Field Support: Ensure timely product delivery to farmers/FPOs, maintain relationships, and address customer concerns with the help of VRs.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, maintain operational records, and prepare reports for audits and senior management.

Vendor and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and transporters for stock procurement, negotiate terms, and optimize cost/service quality

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field.

Experience in store/warehouse management, with handling multiple units or input stores.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage franchisee relationships and motivate field-level teams.

Problem-solving and decision-making acumen.

Language: Proficiency in the local language of the assigned territory is highly desirable.

Basic knowledge of MS office.

Knowledge of Agricultural products and practices

Good understanding of geographical area & market intelligence.
