The Role
Thread + Seed is seeking a Store Manager in Training to join our leadership team and grow into a multi-store leadership role overseeing our South Park and Banker’s Hill locations. This role is perfect for a passionate, sales-driven leader who loves working directly with clients on the sales floor while developing a high-energy team.
As a hands-on leader, you will thrive in a structured environment, enjoy keeping things organized, and take pride in creating a welcoming, elevated boutique culture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead by Example: Actively engage on the sales floor, providing premier personalized service, styling, and "The Style Palette" experiences to clients.
- Drive Sales & Merchandising: Achieve daily/monthly goals through styling, wardrobing, and thoughtful upselling, while maintaining high visual merchandising standards.
- Develop Team Culture: Inspire, coach, and train sales associates to build strong client relationships and product knowledge.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a highly organized store environment, manage daily priorities, inventory, and support scheduling/day-to-day operations.
- Community Connection: Support in-store and local community events (e.g., South Park Walkabout) to drive brand awareness.
- Leverage Digital Tools: Utilize POS systems and digital inventory tools to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience (boutique experience preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of fashion retail experience.
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Proven experience leading a sales team and driving results.
