Hamleys, the world’s most famous toy store is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Store Supervisor to join our team in Kuwait. As a Store Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting store operations, leading a team, and delivering the exceptional customer experience that Hamleys is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Support: Assist in leading a team of sales associates, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of customer service and store efficiency.
Customer Engagement: Ensure customers receive outstanding service by assisting with product knowledge, offering recommendations, and resolving any issues promptly.
Sales Support: Help drive sales performance through effective product placement, promotions, and maintaining high visual merchandising standards in alignment with Hamleys’ brand image.
Inventory Management: Support stock management processes including receiving shipments, conducting stock takes, and ensuring the sales floor is replenished and organized.
Operational Duties: Assist in opening and closing the store, handling cash, and maintaining operational standards in accordance with company policies.
Training & Development: Mentor and train new team members, sharing product knowledge and customer service techniques to ensure continuous improvement and team success.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in retail, ideally within a customer-facing environment or similar industry (toys, fashion, or entertainment).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high store standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours.
Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
