HOURS:9am-5:30pm Mon-Fri – 3 month internship
LOCATION:In office (no WFH), at our Head Office, 265 Tottenham Court Road
PAY:This is an unpaid opportunity for undergraduate or post-graduate students, as part of their university course. Lunch and travel expenses will be paid.TECH:A laptop will be provided for the role by Seraphine (students do not need to use their own materials or laptop etc)
ROLE:The role will be within the product development team, working to support our admin assistants in their day to day roles. This would include but is not limited to:
WHAT WE’LL TEACH YOU: Including but not limited to:
Print, Knit and woven design development skills
How a range for a commercial fashion brand is made
How products can be developed for a specific body type (the pregnant body, as we are a maternity brand)
How to complete admin tasks for design and product development teams
Colour and trend research
Critical path planning
Collection and range building across a large scale business
Develop skills on Adobe software
Tasks Would Include But Not Limited To
Admin tasks such as range plan updates, parcel logging, sampling arranging and sorting, meeting prep
Assisting on photoshoots when these are arranged
Some supporting on print art works
Some supporting on CADs and Illustrator drawings
Supporting on tech pack creation
Line Sheet management
Garment measuring
Day to day admin for the product development team
(Note, this is not a textile making internship, we work primarily digitally and with factories for sampling- we do not sample in house)
Requirements
Highly organised
Happy to work in an environment where priorities often pivot and change daily
Adaptable and able to work independently
Positive, team player attitude
Good experience in using Adobe Software- particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
Good visual research skills
