WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to work with our in-house creative team as an entry-level Studio Coordinator. This will be a 2-3 month temporary role with the potential to transition to regular employment. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent organizational skills, and can collaborate effectively with diverse teams. The primary focus of this role is to provide direct support to the Creative Team in building and maintaining a photo studio that caters to our rapidly growing company’s needs, specifically supporting daily ecommerce photoshoots, including still life and on-model shoots.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO:
Collaborate closely with the Creative Team and our in-house photographer to coordinate and support various studio activities, encompassing daily e-commerce photoshoots, editorial still life, on-model shoots, and other creative projects
Manage studio schedules, ensuring timely project completion, efficient resource utilization, and effective communication and collaboration between the Creative team and other departments
Oversee the organization and maintenance of studio equipment, props, and supplies
Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
Provide pre-production and on-set production assistance for still life, on-model, and editorial shoots, including preparing and organizing materials to ensure all necessary items and samples are available
Handle administrative tasks related to the studio, including ordering supplies, processing invoices, and maintaining documentation
Work onsite in our Manhattan office, providing support during photoshoots and other creative initiatives
WHAT WE WANT TO SEE:
Strong project management skills
Must possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with individuals across a diverse range of disciplines
Must be able to troubleshoot and be solution oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
Proficiency in Monday.com is a plus
In-house creative team experience (particularly in fashion or beauty) is a plus
Submission of a link or attachment showcasing relevant work and/or a portfolio is encouraged
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
