Mode Search is proud to be partnering with a luxury fashion brand to appoint a highly organised and proactive Studio Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in managing a fast-paced studio environment while supporting a variety of cross-functional teams during critical brand moments throughout the year.
This London-based position is full-time and on-site.
The Studio Manager will report directly to the Head of Product Development and collaborate closely with various teams.
The Role
Oversee the daily operations of the studio, ensuring it is organised, well-maintained, and provides an inspiring workspace
Manage the scheduling and coordination of key studio activities across all product categories, ensuring alignment with critical path deadlines
Support meeting and event set-ups including fittings, creative reviews, and presentations, managing logistics, materials, and AV requirements
Act as a key point of coordination across Ready-to-Wear, Knitwear, Accessories, Shoes, and Jewellery teams to ensure smooth collaboration
Facilitate milestone meetings such as collection reviews and prototype approvals, and follow up on action points to ensure timely execution
Support communication and alignment across design, development, production, and merchandising functions
Manage studio assistants, interns, and freelancers by setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards
Liaise with external partners and vendors for studio-related logistics including couriers and material deliveries
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and uphold internal policies
Oversee the storage and movement of samples, ensuring proper cataloguing and quality control
Coordinate with archive and PR teams on sample loans and returns
Manage the studio budget, track expenses, and approve purchasing of supplies and materials
Maintain stock levels for all tools and resources required for smooth studio operations
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry, with an understanding of seasonal rhythms from product development to showroom presentation
Highly organised with excellent administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence liaising across teams and ensuring process alignment
Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
Collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across departments
Detail-focused and calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
Commercially aware, with proven experience in budget management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
