Job Purpose:The Style Expertise Manager plays a vital role in building the Chanel Difference and in engaging the consumer to the Brand. She or he is the Style reference in the country and ensures the right fashion messages and personalized styling advice delivered to our people and our client are in line with the spirit and the allure of each collection. She or he develops a team of Style Experts and Style Advisors who will then coach the rest of the boutique team in terms of styling to achieve market leadership and reach global requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote the Styling Career path and roles internally.
Identify potential Style Advisors / Style Experts while ensuring quality of talents as well as headcount target: talents selection, observation and validation together with Retail / HOBs
Evaluate the progress of each Style Expert / Style Advisor in styling.
Define together with HOB / DHOB Individual Development Plan based on the “Style Advisor / Style Expert Profile and Progress Report”
Conduct Regular Competition Boutique visit: benchmark Chanel standards in terms of FAs knowledge in Styling and external talents spotting.
Continuously elevate the styling skills in our people and ensure the Style of Chanel (DNA) and the allure of each collection is conveyed to our clients
Build local Style Expert / Style Advisors Training Curriculum and ensure the right content is cascaded to the right audience in timely manner (as per global roadmap)
Animate the community of Style Experts / Style Advisors on frequent basis.
Hold Style Workshops at least 2 times a year.
Hold Collection workshops at least 4 times a year (Podium collections)
Drive floor-coaching for Style Experts / Style Advisors on frequent basis, act as a personal mentor in styling
Grow awareness on Fashion Industry: Fashion trends, environment and culture
Partner with Learning in order to infuse Style to ALL Fashion Advisors (Style For ALL, Message Mode)
Inspire the FAs in styling in selected occasions and / or through selected platforms.
Drive, animate and moderate the Fashion Community in their country.
Create awareness and passion around Fashion & Style overall
Impulse Style from the buys
Attend Buying Sessions in Paris (around 4 times / year, Podium collections)
Create Desire and Emotion around Chanel Runway: inspirations, look decryption, accessorization principles
Create Fashion awareness at the time of the buys (Podium trends)
Select Key Fashion Pieces (RTW and Accessories) with Merchandising team
Support Key Fashion pieces by showing different ways to wear (versatility)
Integrate RTW recap pieces and other accessories to adapt to client lifestyle in boutique (relevance)
Work closely with Merchandising Team and boutique to ensure a consistent buy from a silhouette POV
Strongly contribute to Fashion orchestration from a styling point of view for collection launches and strategic product launches
Offer styling service / counsel / class internally when relevant
Lead The Art of Styling Moment collaboration with Retail and Marketing Team, animate special styling moments in boutique as per the needs
Provide styling guidance to Style Experts / Style Advisors, help in preparing clients’ wardrobe, show by example and play a role model during selected appointments
