Main purpose of the position:
This is a full-time role for a candidate who will work with the Editorial Styling department, acting as liaison between all studio departments and Editorial Production to execute successful shoots daily. This role will be managing the Editorial Studio Assistants and Interns; organizing the team’s schedules and daily tasks for editorial shoots and special projects.
Position responsibilities and daily tasks:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day of the Editorial Studio Assistants and Interns
Daily management of the studio schedule and ensuring everyone is up to date and aware of all activities and deadlines
Work alongside Senior Stylists to coordinate and manage logistics of all studio projects
Create new best practice processes and strive to constantly improve planning and procedures. Making recommendations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at the highest level
Work closely with the Lead Editorial Stylist on team schedules and daily tasks based on the monthly photo shoot schedule
Coordinate with Production, Creative, Brand Partnerships to ensure styling team deadlines, models, and set locations are communicated to the styling team for all projects
Schedule studio audits and create audit schedules for the Styling team
Responsible for maintaining the styling closets ensuring inventory is accurate, up to date, and organized for style outs and photo shoots
Liaison with Editorial Production and the appropriate departments to handle styling logistics for all shoots
Liaison between editorial, e-comm, and sample departments for sample tracking
