ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities:
Greeting, welcoming, assessing customer needs, and recommending services and products appropriately
Delivering services including but not limited to haircuts and trims. For licensed Barbers and Cosmetologist, services include hot towel facials and waxing, and for licensed Barbers, services include hot towel shaves
Ensuring high-quality customer experience
Closing out transactions and payment handling
Scheduling of follow-up appointments
Balancing of cash drawer
Restocking of supplies and retail product
Keeping a safe and clean shop area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Maintaining security
Supporting other needs as directed
Requirements:
Active Colorado Barber, Cosmetology, or Hair Styling license
Demonstrated skill level and ability to provide high quality barbering services, including but not limited to, cuts, trims, and finishing techniques, as well as hot towel shaves (Barbers)
Work a flexible schedule, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and build / promote a culture of service and teamwork
Be reliable and on time for all scheduled shifts
Withstand exposure to various chemicals and fragrances used while performing services
Ability to stand for sustained periods of time
Ability to manage day-to-day service delivery and schedule working in a high-energy, fast-paced team environment
