Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Salon Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the beauty industry. As a Salon Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professional, Gia while assisting with various salon operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in hair styling, color theory, and customer service.
Duties
Assist lead stylist with hair services, including hair styling, hair extensions, and color application.
Learn and apply color theory principles under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by following proper sanitation protocols.
Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Engage with clients to provide exceptional customer service and assist with upselling services and products.
Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Shadow mentors during various salon services to gain practical experience.
Qualifications
A passion for the beauty industry with a desire to learn about hair styling techniques.
Familiarity with color theory and hair styling is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to embrace mentoring opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Basic knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon setting.
Previous experience in client service or front desk roles is advantageous.
