We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hair care techniques, color theory, and styling trends. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional services to clients while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the salon. Your expertise in various styling methods, including barbering and hair extensions, will contribute to our commitment to client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
Demonstrate proficiency in barbering techniques and straight razor usage for precision cuts.
Apply color theory knowledge to achieve desired results for clients.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development through guidance and support.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products or services.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon environment.
Promote retail products effectively using retail math skills to enhance sales opportunities.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, and threading techniques.

Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Knowledge of salon software systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with hair extensions, threading techniques, and makeup application is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong attention to detail and creativity in styling techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
