Shampoo Salon Assistant
Job Summary: Our salon is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented shampoo salon assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide exceptional service to our clients. The shampoo salon assistant will be responsible for providing various shampooing and conditioning services to our clients and assisting the stylists with various tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
Greeting clients and escorting them to the shampoo area
Providing shampoo, conditioning, and scalp massage services to clients
Preparing and setting up the shampoo area, including keeping it clean and organized
Assisting stylists with various tasks as needed, such as mixing color, preparing foils, and sweeping the floor
Laundry for salon, spa and nail department throughout the day
Monitoring inventory levels and notifying management when supplies need to be ordered
Providing excellent customer service to clients, answering questions, and providing information about salon services and products
Maintaining the cleanliness an stock of the salon and spa, including laundry, beverage areas, washrooms and client waiting areas.
Ensuring all equipment and tools are properly sanitized and stored
Attending and participating in training sessions and meetings as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a salon or similar environment preferred but not required
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
