Hair Stylist Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team at Capelo Spa and Salon. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of hair care and different cutting style techniques as well as hair coloring. The candidate should be knowledgeable on trending styles and be open to work on their personal skillsets to further develop their technical and theoretical skills.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality styling services which include but are not limited to women, men and children’s haircuts and chemical services.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with TDLR regulations.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend hair techniques that will benefit them.
Be open to gain more skills and experience to further enhance client experience.
Manage appointment time efficiently to ensure timely service delivery to clients.
Maintain inventory of supplies and products, ensuring availability for all services.
Skills
knowledgeable in hair care and hair treatments depending on the state of the client.
Be able to manage session timing to see clients within set schedule.
Have good customer service skills including communication and listening skills.
Work well under pressure and for extended periods of time.
Be able to multitask
Organization and cleanliness of own station
