Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while also contributing to the overall success of our salon. With an established clientele already in place, you’ll have the opportunity to start building relationships with customers from day one!
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences.
Provide expert advice on hair care and styling techniques, ensuring clients leave satisfied with their look.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.
Mentor junior stylists or trainees by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care and styling.
Support retail sales by recommending products that enhance client satisfaction and promote salon offerings.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Familiarity with retail to assist in product sales
Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
