Duties
- Provide a variety of hair services, including cuts, colors, and styling.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of color theory to create custom color palettes for clients.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel valued and comfortable throughout their experience.
- Effectively and consistently market your services and the salon.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with salon standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques.
- Use salon software to manage appointments, track client records, and manage inventory levels.
- Perform hair threading services with precision and care.
- Collaborate with other stylists to create a cohesive and welcoming environment for clients.
- Continuously strive to improve skills and deliver high‑quality results.
Qualifications
- A current Cosmetology License (Required) or Barbering License (Preferred).
- Existing clientele to fulfill minimum requirements of 15 paid guests in first 30 days, 10 retail products sold per month, and 50% pre-booking average.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its practical applications.
- Successfully complete 30 and 60 day performance and educational milestones.
- Experience with retail math to manage inventory and cash handling effectively.
- Proficiency with salon software for managing appointments and client records.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and teamwork.
Job Types
- Full-time, Part-time
Pay
- Average pay ranges from $16.90 to $50.00 per hour, based on service and retail commission plus gratuity.
- Performance directly determines earning potential, meaning the more you excel, the more you can earn-your success has no limits!
Expected Hours
- No less than 12 per week up to 40 hours per week
Shift Availability
- Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts (Preferred)
