Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shampoo Assistant to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the client experience by providing exceptional shampooing and hair care services. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the beauty industry, as you will be assisting stylists and engaging with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet clients warmly and assist them in settling into their appointments.
Perform shampooing, conditioning, and scalp massage services with attention to client comfort.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shampoo area and salon environment.
Assist stylists with hair styling techniques as needed, including blow-drying and basic styling (braid downs and flat ironing as needed).
Communicate effectively with clients about their hair care needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Stay informed about current trends in hair care, color theory, and styling techniques.
Skills
Proficiency in customer service with a friendly demeanor.
Knowledge of cosmetology principles, including color theory and hair styling techniques.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
