Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
There are no shampoo, no cuts, no color. Need to perform blowouts in 30 mins.
Duties
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired styles.
Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and services, utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory.
Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of retail sales practices and basic retail math for effective product promotion.
Ability to mentor others and share expertise within the team is highly valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
