We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for clients. Your expertise in various techniques, including color theory, will be essential in helping clients achieve their desired looks.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend products for retail sales.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts when applicable.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to manage inventory effectively and drive sales.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in color theory and application techniques.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
Experience in retail sales is preferred, with the ability to promote products confidently.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure client safety and hygiene.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.20 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
