Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, including barbering and the use of straight razors. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean salon environment.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, including eyelash extensions and other beauty services.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques, including barbering and straight razor skills.
Strong understanding of sanitation practices in a salon setting.
Experience with salon software for efficient management of appointments and client information.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a positive client relationship.
Experience in mentoring or training others is a plus.
Knowledge of additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions is desirable.
