Mad Head Spa is looking for a passionate and friendly Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team, specializing in head and scalp treatments. We seek someone who excels in customer service and is eager to provide personalized care to our clients. Experience with scalp treatments is a plus but not required — we offer training for the right candidate!
Responsibilities
Provide professional head and scalp treatments, including scalp massages, scrubs, washes, and shampoos, based on clients’ needs.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, ensuring a welcoming and relaxing experience.
Educate clients on the benefits of scalp treatments and aftercare practices to promote healthy hair and scalp.
Utilize scheduling software (such as BOULEVARD) to manage appointments, client records, and spa operations smoothly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace following spa protocols and industry standards.
Recommend and upsell spa products and services, such as specialized shampoos and scalp treatments, to enhance clients’ experience and results.
Stay updated on the latest trends in scalp care and holistic wellness.
Qualifications
Valid Cosmetology license.
Strong experience in customer service, ideally within a spa, salon, or beauty environment.
Interest in learning and providing head and scalp treatments; previous experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with BOULEVARD or similar scheduling and client management software is a plus.
Understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices in a spa setting.
Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor to build rapport with clients.
Ability to upsell products and services effectively.
Enthusiasm for holistic wellness and delivering an outstanding client experience.
