Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering and cosmetology, with a flair for hair styling and an eye for detail. You will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our clients.
Duties
Perform haircuts, shaves, and styling services using various techniques, including straight razor methods and shears.
Sanitate tools and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Utilize color theory to apply hair coloring techniques effectively.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet retail goals.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, and maintaining product displays.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist with a valid cosmetology or barbering license.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in managing sales and inventory effectively.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their preferences.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience with upselling products is preferred but not required.
