We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Your creativity and expertise will help clients achieve their desired looks, while your customer service skills will enhance their overall experience.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Perform additional beauty services such as makeup application and nail care as required.
Utilize techniques such as eyelash extensions and straight razor cuts to deliver high-quality results.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on styles and products.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care techniques.
Effectively communicate with clients throughout the service process to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is a plus.
Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products.
Ability to perform makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.

Pay: $22.27 – $24.87 per hour
