Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our salons provide excellent customer service and handle any concerns with professionalism. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing employee performance and efficiency, implementing improvement plans when necessary.
Maintaining professionalism in all staff interactions, avoiding gossip or discussing internal matters outside of official meetings.
Monitoring breaks and ensuring team members take them during slower salon periods.
Adjusting staffing levels to optimize salon efficiency and financial performance.
Encouraging staff to upsell products and experiences by keeping them well-informed about our offerings.
Completing monthly product inventory.
Optimizing client schedules to minimize gaps.
Assisting in opening and closing the salon when needed.
Managing birthday parties at the location and ensuring staff are well-trained in running them.
Ensuring confirmation calls are made every Friday for weekend appointments at each location.
Qualifications:
An active cosmetology or barbering license in the state of Oklahoma.
Previous experience in a salon environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A passion for providing excellent customer service.
