We are seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various beauty treatments and services, demonstrating exceptional skills in both technical and customer service areas. As a Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality beauty services while ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all clients.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of beauty treatments including haircuts, coloring, styling, and skin treatments.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the best hair colors and styles.
Administer advanced treatments such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments as per certification.
Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on proper product usage to enhance their beauty routines.
Maintain salon software systems, such as MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Provide excellent hospitality to ensure a positive experience for every client.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that meet client needs while achieving sales goals.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry through ongoing education and training.
Uphold cleanliness and organization of the salon environment to meet health and safety standards.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in various beauty techniques including hair coloring,dermabrasion, and skin treatments.
Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services.
Experience with salon software systems; familiarity with MINDBODY is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
A proactive approach to retail sales, with an ability to recommend products that enhance client satisfaction.
Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and stay current with industry trends.
