Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for clients.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend appropriate hair color options.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized consultations.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, including front desk responsibilities.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and techniques, including barbering and hair threading.
Use straight razors safely and effectively as part of styling services.
Contribute to store management by assisting with inventory management and client scheduling.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including barbering, color application, and threading.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the beauty industry.
A valid cosmetology license is required.

Pay: $17.50 – $32.00 per hour
