A stylist-in-training is a position designed to introduce soon to graduate cosmetology school students to the salon environment and help them learn the business. Job duties include:communicating effectively with customers and coworkersobserve manager and other stylists at work and asking questionsanswer phones, perform reception duties, sanitizing tools and light cleaning duties ability to work in a fast paced salon environmentopen to learning new techniquesgraduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license to perform salon services within 30 days of hire

Ability to cut hair for an extended period and provide quality haircuts in a fast-paced environment
