Responsibilities
- Assist in developing seasonal collections by contributing to mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selections using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Support the design team with sketching, illustration, and technical flat drawings to visualize concepts effectively.
- Participate in garment construction activities, including sewing and pattern making, to understand the full product development process.
- Collaborate on product lifecycle management tasks to track designs from inception through production, ensuring timely delivery.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and fashion styling efforts for photoshoots, retail displays, or promotional events.
- Conduct research on current trends, color theory applications, and competitive analysis within the fashion retail landscape.
- Assist with graphic design projects for marketing materials, lookbooks, or social media content to enhance brand storytelling.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a fashion design, graphic design, apparel merchandising or related program at an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of garment construction techniques and sewing machine operation.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes within the fashion industry.
- Strong sense of color theory and visual storytelling skills through illustration or graphic design.
- Experience or interest in fashion styling, merchandising, or retail environments is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while managing multiple projects efficiently.
