About The Job
As an Intern, you become a crucial member of Supply chain department in Arla – a unique place where you can learn a wide variety of SC processes, including Logistic , warehouses , planning , master data management, and more.
Key responsibilities & Areas:
Collaborate with Deman Planning team to ensure sales forecasts align with operational plans.
Issue & track purchase orders using SAP PS1 and SAP APO.
Liaise with internal departments to address operational challenges.
Place orders with dairies and third-party manufacturers, optimizing order volumes to balance demand and minimize costs.
Participate and lead in S&OE and S&OP meetings.
Proactively use reports available to review open orders and action as require.
Create and run planning reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in audit of documentation and contract terms required for trade transactions.
Assist in building relationships with organisational network and external vendors for procurement.
Assist in ongoing review records and information to determine if work processes and procedures are effective.
Draft proposal requirements or procurement details to potential sellers.
Gather list of sellers in line with selection processes
Provide receipt of products based on procurement requirements and quality assurance processes.
Support data collection on potential sellers that fulfil requirements.
Support procurement activities based on product specifications and customer needs.
Support sales and finance departments to process payment to sellers.
Support work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
Track statuses of purchase orders based on organisational procedures.
Use the latest technology to improve operations.
Educational background/Experience:
bachelor degree of accountant or supply chain
0-3 years of experience FMCG experience is a plus
Eager to learn
Excellent knowledge in MS applications
Ability to lead
Fluent English
SAP System
