High growth Skincare/Beauty brand with an incredible brand story and product is seeking an analytical and strategic Head of Sales (SVP) to lead wholesale and drive revenue growth. The omni-channel sales leader will have experience in developing TV, specialty retailers, and independent accounts. This position is responsible for managing the entire U.S. wholesale (potentially Intl which is currently smaller) and TV teams as well as developing and maintaining strong cross functional partnerships.
Overview:
Fully Remote (preferred EC based)
Reports into CEO
Full team of 25 (2VP’s, Sr. Director, Manager, Analyst + field team)
Cross functional partners: CFO and CMO
Oversight of all Sales channels and teams
Required Experience:
12+ years Skincare/Beauty, TV Shopping (QVC/HSN), Ulta or Sephora, Independents, team management (in house and field), P&L management/revenue of $50M+
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to direct account modeling, multiple forecasts, budgets, and P&Ls
Preferred Addtl Experience: Hotel, Cruise, Travel Retail
Approx Salary Range/Comp Package: 250-275k + bonus + Equity

Scope:
Develop and implement short- and long-term margin accretive, strategic sales plans to achieve key business growth targets
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales leaders, providing strategic direction, guidance, and support as needed
Relentlessly review segmentation and allocation strategies to ensure sustained growth and increased market share
In partnership with marketing, creative, and planning, deliver fully aligned annual business plans for each strategic customer
Strategically increase market share across categories and classifications in accordance with brand initiatives
Analyze sales data, competitive activities, and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and optimization in existing business
Develop and maintain exceptional strategic account relationships
Develop a data driven mindset across the sales organization to inform all decisions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners in partnership with sales leads to maximize sales opportunities
Create a culture of success and goal achievement and implement strategies which support the needs of the sales teams, operations and required resources to deliver profitable growth
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management
In partnership with finance, analyze P&L by channel and seek revenue & profit improvement opportunities
In partnership with CEO, seek new distribution opportunities that align with brand vision and channel priorities
In partnership with marketing, devise new and innovative ways to market products and increase productivity.
Responsible for identifying sales growth opportunities and participating in negotiations to close strategic opportunities
$250,000 – $275,000 + bonus + Equity
