Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team. The Seamstress will be responsible for sewing, altering, and repairing garments to meet customer needs and specifications.
Duties
– Perform alterations on various types of clothing
– Sew garments according to patterns or customer specifications
– Repair damaged clothing items
– Assist customers with fitting and garment selection
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills
– Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
– Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
– Ability to sew using both hand stitching and sewing machines
– Knowledge of garment construction techniques
– Experience working with different types of fabrics
– Previous experience in fashion retail is a plus
– This is a 1099 position and pay is up to 45% of the jobs completed
