Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Hiring Managers in the fashion retail sector to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
Develop tailored recruitment strategies to address retail store staffing, corporate roles, and long-term workforce planning.
Gather detailed job specifications and selection criteria specific to fashion retail roles, including store management, visual merchandising, and corporate positions.
Ensure a clear understanding of the skills, experience, and competencies required for each role.
Post job openings on industry-specific job boards, company websites, and professional networks.
Work with the Digital Marketing team to develop targeted job post announcements and employer branding content tailored to the fashion retail industry.
Identify and source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, retail associations, and fashion recruitment agencies.
Conduct online assessments and phone interviews to evaluate retail expertise, customer service skills, and brand alignment.
Organize and attend job fairs, fashion industry networking events, and university career expos to build a pipeline of skilled retail professionals.
Develop relationships with fashion schools and universities to attract emerging talent.
Conduct structured interviews using Competency-Based Interviewing (CBI) techniques tailored for fashion retail professionals.
Ensure candidates meet role-specific requirements, including sales performance expectations and brand representation standards.
Negotiate and extend competitive job offers, clearly communicating employment terms, benefits, and growth opportunities within the fashion retail industry.
Work closely with the Onboarding and Development (OD) team to ensure smooth integration of new hires into retail stores and corporate offices.
Provide regular updates to the Head of Talent Acquisition on recruitment challenges and opportunities for process improvements.
Prepare analytical reports on employee turnover, hiring trends, and talent pipeline effectiveness in the fashion retail industry.
Track the performance of new hires during their probationary period and collect feedback from Hiring Managers.
Identify training needs and career development opportunities to support workforce retention.
Maintain accurate recruitment records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
Ensure all new hires meet brand standards and customer service excellence expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, specifically within the fashion retail industry.
Demonstrated expertise in hiring for retail store roles, corporate fashion positions, and visual merchandising.
Strong knowledge of industry-specific hiring challenges, labor regulations, and workforce planning.
Experience conducting Competency-Based Interviews (CBI) and assessing retail-specific skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex hiring scenarios.
Strong networking skills with fashion industry professionals, retail associations, and recruitment agencies.
